Torkom Demirjian is the president and founder of Ariadne Galleries. A graduate of New York's Pratt Art Institute, he was drawn to antiquities as a young man through his lifelong love for ancient cultures. Armed with a keen eye for beauty and voracious appetite for knowledge, he became a self-made antiquarian, and has been a dealer of ancient art since 1972.
Today, Ariadne Galleries operates three locations in New York, Paris, and London. Well known in the industry for his market expertise, his sense of history, and his acute aesthetic judgment, Mr. Demirjian is a leader in the field of antiquities, always seeking to increase interest in and knowledge of ancient cultures among collectors and the general public.
